Your therapist is bound to protect your privacy.
However, therapists have supervision to ensure they provide the best level of care. Your therapist may discuss your case with their supervisor. However, this supervisor will also be a trained therapist, engaged by your therapist to ensure that the standard of therapy is maintained. Supervision is a standard practice in the therapy profession.
Apart from that, your therapist is obliged to respect your privacy. The only exception is if you share that you intend to hurt yourself or another person, or have committed a serious crime. In such a case, your therapist is legally obliged to contact the appropriate authorities. Your therapist should discuss these boundaries with you when you start therapy.
