If a client tries to pay you privately, you should advise them that payment for the session has already been taken in advance in order to hold the session for them.

When a client books an initial session with a therapist through Helpspace, the client's payment method details are securely encrypted and stored by the payment processor. The payment method details are used to take advance payment for any follow-up sessions booked on the client's behalf by their therapist.

Terms and conditions

Taking payment for client session privately by any means for a client who has signed up to work with you through Helpspace is in breach of the Therapist Terms & Conditions to which all therapists agree when creating a therapist account with Helpspace.

Be aware that taking payment privately could result in the suspension of your account.
