The Helpspace commission is a fee paid by the therapist to Helpspace Ltd. for a successful referral. A 'successful referral' occurs when a client attends an Initial Exploratory Session. The commission is paid only once for each new client. The commission is paid regardless of whether the client books a follow-up session or not.

How much is the Helpspace commission fee?

For technical reasons, the amount of the Helpspace commission is determined by the amount the therapist charges for one Individual Adult Session (18+), plus the Service Charge, which is a small fee charged to the client on top of the therapist's session fee.

Also, for technical reasons, the duration of the Initial Exploratory Session is always equal to the duration you specify for an Individual Adult Session (18+).

Payment of the Helpspace commission is automated

The first payment a new client makes is automatically sent to Helpspace Ltd., so no action is required on the part of the therapist. All Helpspace payments (including refunds) are automated through our secure payment system, so that you can focus on therapy with clients, rather than fees.
