As a therapist using Helpspace, it’s important to inform your clients of our refund policy during the initial session. Here’s a concise summary of the policy to share with them:

  1. Cancellation More Than 48 Hours in Advance:
    • Clients who cancel their session more than 48 hours before the start time will either not be charged or will receive a full refund.
  2. Cancellation Less Than 48 Hours in Advance:
    • Sessions cancelled less than 48 hours before the start time will be charged in full.
  3. Therapist-Initiated Cancellations:
    • If you need to cancel a session due to illness or an emergency, the client will either not be charged or will be refunded in full.
  4. How to Cancel a Session:
    • Clients can log in to their Helpspace account, locate the session under 'My Counselling Sessions,' and click the 'Cancel' button. If the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the session, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
